What is a trouble ticket?
Our Trouble Ticket system is the fastest way to access our technical support staff. The ticket allows us to monitor the progress of your issue and make sure it is resolved as fast as possible.

How do I set up my email?
To log into our mail servers requires that you configure your mail program for our servers. With all of the good mail programs available today it is impossible to have exact instructions to each one. However, in general they all ask for some common information.

Server Information
Two fields are required POP and SMTP both these fields should be filled out with your Domain name. For example "yourdomain.com".

Mail box name or user name
In this field you should enter your email address. some mail programs will not accept the "@" symbol, in this case replace it with the "%"symbol. For example "name%yourdomain.com".

Password
For this just put in the password you picked when you signed up for service.

Can I add another email address?
Yes, please request additional email addresses using our Trouble Ticket system, be sure to include the email user name(s) that you would like added (Note: User names must be between 3 and 10 letters). There may be an extra monthly charge so we will ask you to confirm your request after we send you a quote.

How do I upload new html pages to my site?
To FTP to the server you will need a FTP program. There are many available on the web. Two that popular Windows programs are CuteFTP and WS_FTP. For the Mac you can use Fetch or Anarchie. There are three things you must know in configuring your FTP program. The first thing you need is your domain name. For example "yourdomain.com". Next you need your user name or user ID, this is sent to you by the tech department on setting up your account. The last thing you need is your password which you picked upon signing up for services. Leave the rest of the fields blank or at the default settings.

Once you are logged into the server you will be in your Root directory. Just name your first page index.html or index.htm and you should be able to view your page through a browser. You can create your own directory structure from there.

What is javascript and why does it matter?
JavaScript is a computer language that aids many functions of our site. Without it or with it turned off many of the tools of this site will be unavailable to you. JavaScript1.1 is supported by: Netscape 3.0 and above, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and above, AOL 4.0 and above, and Opera 3.50 and above.

If you have one of the browsers listed above, and the site does not work, make sure JavaScript is turned on:
In Netscape 3:
from the "options" pulldown menu, select "network preferences" then "languages" and make sure "enable javascript" is checked.
In Netscape 4 and above:
from the "edit" pulldown menu, select "preferences" then "advanced" and make sure "enable javascript" is checked.
In Explorer 4 and above using a Macintosh:
from the "edit" pulldown menu, select "preferences" then "webcontent" and make sure "enable scripting" is checked.
In Explorer 4 and above using Windows:
from the "view" pulldown menu, select "options" then "security, select custom (for expert users), push the "settings..." button, scroll down to "active scripting," and select "enable."
In America Online:
click on "members," click on "preferences," click on "WWW," click the tab that says "security" and make sure "javascript" is checked.
In Opera 3.50:
from "preferences | multimedia," make sure there is a check in the box beside "enable scripting languages."

What technical issues are beyond Arturan's control?
The Internet relies on many companies, people and machines to function properly. For you to have connected to this site, the computer you are using has to have had its hardware (the box itself) and software set up correctly (Operating System e.g. Macintosh or Windows and Browser e.g Netscape or AOL). You have also contracted with an ISP (e.g. Cable modem or Earthlink) this company connects your computer with theirs. Their computer is then connected to the Web. Web sites like this one are also connected to the Web in this way. Any one of these points could be out of service and would stop you from getting to your desired destination. Another factor is general Web traffic like a highway certain times of the day the network will be more congested than others, slowing or stopping your progress.
